Spinning out of the world of Hellboy, Frankenstein Underground #2 delivers exactly the moody, subterranean atmosphere you'd hope for from a Dark Horse monster tale. Mike Mignola's cover — colored by Dave Stewart — plunges us into a vast, shadowy cavern where Frankenstein's creature is ensnared by a mass of writhing tentacles belonging to some enormous, skull-headed beast, one arm thrust defiantly upward against the darkness.
