Forgotten Realms Comic Book #10
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC's Forgotten Realms #10 from 1990 delivers one of the more unsettling cover images in the series, with a swirling orange-and-yellow vortex framing a muscular, blue-haired figure whose body appears to be merging — or perhaps multiplying — with grotesque, grasping humanoid forms clinging to every limb. The title "Head Cheeeese" (yes, all those e's are intentional) hints at something gleefully strange within, and a large spider lurking on a web along the left edge adds an extra layer of creepiness to the whole composition. Cover pencils by Rags Morales and inks by Dave Simons bring a raw, kinetic energy to this weird corner of the Forgotten Realms universe that Jeff Grubb was building issue by issue.
