Force Works head back to Slorenia to investigate the criminal actions of the Slorene government, after being briefed by Jim Rhodes on recent events. Whilst Tony and Julia (as Stark Enterprises) attend to an official reception held by the government, Wanda and Jack [USAgent] head to the streets undercover in civilian clothes to meet Dr. Irena Renko, who informs them that genetically engineered Targoth are slaughtering the Dudak population. Spider-Woman sneaks around, but comes up against a super-powered Volkvhy. She calls Century for help, but he's been knocked unconscious by the Recorder.
