After the disbanding of the West Coast Avengers, Iron Mans calls together Simon, Wanda, Julia and John Walker to form a new team. As Simon and Wanda head to the old destroyed Avengers compound to collect their stuff, they meet Vision and the Black Widow there downloading the Avengers data from the computer systems. They are attacked by a Kree force hell-bent on taking vengeance against Vision and Simon for the destruction of Hala. Simon attacks the Kree space ship, and the weapon explodes, killing Simon. On Earth, Century mysteriously appears in the middle of battle to help fight the Kree.
