Foolkiller #4

The cover of Foolkiller #4 sets a wonderfully absurd tone: a massive, armored figure in a red and purple helmet sits in what appears to be a therapist's chair, holding up a glowing, foul-smelling brain with a contemplative expression, while Deadpool reclines across his lap like a patient on the couch. Dave Johnson's artwork leans into the dark comedy with sharp linework and that sickly green emanating from the brain, perfectly capturing the series' offbeat blend of violence and satire. If you've been following this 2017 Marvel run, issue four promises more of the twisted, irreverent energy that makes Foolkiller such an entertaining read.
