Vertigo's horror anthology Flinch leans fully into Halloween dread with this December 1999 "Tricks and Treats" issue, and John Mueller's painted cover makes an immediate, unsettling impression — a shirtless, masked figure clutching a camera stands surrounded by Polaroid photographs pinned to a grim wall, while a bound victim's feet occupy the foreground with a knife resting nearby.
