Flashpoint: Citizen Cold #2

Part of DC's 2011 Flashpoint event, this second chapter of "Cold-Hearted" puts Citizen Cold front and center in his fur-trimmed blue parka, cold gun leveled at a green-suited villain sprawled at his feet while he grips a distressed red-haired woman in the foreground. Scott Kolins handles both the writing and art duties throughout, and his cover composition crackles with tension — the wintry backdrop of snow-dusted pines perfectly suits a character whose whole identity is built around sub-zero menace. A solidly entertaining slice of the Flashpoint universe that fans of morally complex antiheroes will want on their pull list.
