Den på 1900-talet fängslade Abra Kadabra lurar en polisman, Slor Disi, från sin egen tid, att besöka honom i fängelset i Central City. Kadabra övermannar Disi och byter kropp med honom. Därefter flyr Kadabra fängelset och ställer sig på scenen på ett trollkarlskonvent. Väl där börjar han att avslöja Blixtens hemliga identitet.
