This volume collects the second story arc of the original Fist of the North Star manga, following Kenshiro's journey into the lawless wasteland where he confronts the tyrannical Shin and his army, culminating in the battle for the Southern Cross stronghold. It includes issues from the early chapters of the series as originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, translated and released by Viz in the late 1990s.
