17-year-old Myrna marries the older Randolph at her father’s urging, but then falls in love with Devon. She refuses to consider divorce and Devon becomes engaged to Vivian. When Randolph is killed in an accident, Devon comes back, but Myrna won’t let him break his promise to marry Vivian. However, Vivian shows up and Myrna sees she’s a spiteful woman who doesn’t really love Devon, so Myrna and Devon reconcile.
