Connie is the assistant to television producer Peter. He is critical and domineering but she falls in love with him. Connie then dates dancer Allen and they fall in love. Peter says Allen is an incurable womaniser who is lying to Connie. Allen tricks Connie into visiting him at the hospital, falsely claiming he’s ill: he proposes marriage to her and she realises he is the man she loves.
