Wealthy, flirtatious Babs is hideously scarred in an automobile accident. She falls in love with Bill Reiner, the lawyer handling her case, but believes he sees her only as a horribly scarred woman no one could possibly love. He corrects her and the two pledge their love. Babs eventually has plastic surgery to restore her face but the scars in her heart will always be there to remind her of her crippling self-pity.
