This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "For Better Not Worse!" follows a woman named Edith Purcell from a wealthy family who marries Paul Danner, a poor scholarship student, despite class differences and disapproval from her mother Mrs. Hortense Purcell. Their marriage deteriorates when Paul's controlling attitudes clash with Edith's expectations, leading to conflict. "Danner Versus Danner" continues the narrative as the marriage unravels, with Paul becoming increasingly jealous and possessive, ultimately resulting in an accident that brings tragedy to their relationship when police call about Paul being injured.
