Tom Mandrake's cover for issue #89 sets a striking scene: a winged, helmeted figure swoops aggressively down from above while a grimacing, white-faced figure recoils amid explosive bursts of energy between city skyscrapers. The diagonal composition crackles with tension, and that title — "Sundering" — promises something genuinely consequential is at stake.
