Firefly #10

Mal and Zoe stand back-to-back against a blood-red sky, pistols raised and expressions steely — a cover by Lee Garbett that captures the lived-in tension between two veterans who've survived worse odds than whatever's looming in the smoke-shrouded distance behind them. Greg Pak's run on this BOOM! Studios series continues to channel the spirit Joss Whedon built, and issue #10 looks like it's putting the 'verse's most battle-hardened duo right in the thick of it. If you've been following along, this one promises to keep the pressure dialed up.
