Fire & Ice: When Hell Freezes Over #3

Part three of this devilishly fun DC series arrives with a cover by Terry and Rachel Dodson that sets the tone perfectly: a grinning, horned demon dominates the foreground, clutching a glowing green energy orb, while Ice — dressed as an angel and strumming a harp — hovers to his left, and Fire — sporting a green devil-girl outfit and brandishing a trident — perches confidently on his right. The fiery, smoke-filled backdrop and the chapter title "Hell in a Handbasket" make it clear that our heroines are navigating some truly infernal territory. Writer Joanne Starer and artist Stephen Byrne continue what looks to be a wonderfully irreverent adventure that plays its heaven-and-hell imagery with a knowing wink.
