Final Crisis Aftermath: Run! #6
The sixth and final chapter of DC's 2009 Final Crisis Aftermath: Run! closes the series with a cover that commands attention — a powerfully built, shirtless figure consumed by crackling orange-and-black energy fills the frame, his expression raw and defiant against a stately arched gateway rendered in stark grayscale behind him. The contrast between that muted, almost serene backdrop and the figure's fiery disintegration makes for a genuinely striking image from cover artist Kako. With Matthew Sturges writing and Freddie Williams II on interior art, this concluding chapter — subtitled "Step Six: Stop Running" — promises a fitting end to one of DC's more intense post-Final Crisis miniseries.
