This issue contains at least two stories. "Medal Hill" depicts Marines taking a strategic hill from enemy forces, with the Commies brushed aside and the Marines helping search for every one of Tucker Jameson. "Victor the Victor" tells of Mollie Baldwin's admiration for Victor Leison, a skilled Marine mechanic who impresses local boys with his war stories, including one about using angled metal sheets on a jeep to deflect enemy machine gun fire at Koo-sa Pass, a tactic that allowed him to eliminate multiple enemy gun nests and earn a promotion to first lieutenant.
