In Part IV, "The Last Role," the team locates the Ambassador in a closet; the Duc du Mort reveals his plan to use the Ambassador's testimony to frame the United States government, but the team escapes via helicopter. The issue also includes a backup story, "The Meuse-Argonne Battle," a historical account of the WWI battle that occurred September 26–November 1, 1918, where 250,000 troops attacked German trenches with heavy casualties on both sides.
