The Fightin' 5 must rescue the American Ambassador from an embassy under attack by enemy forces. Part III, "A Friendly Face," shows the team breaching the embassy gates while the Duc du Mort's men bomb the building and local troops attack. In Part IV, "The Last Role," the team locates the Ambassador in a closet; the Duc du Mort reveals his plan to use the Ambassador's testimony to frame the United States government, but the team escapes via helicopter. The issue also includes a backup story, "The Meuse-Argonne Battle," a historical account of the WWI battle that occurred September 26–November 1, 1918, where 250,000 troops attacked German trenches with heavy casualties on both sides.
