Tiger Girl joins the Beja tribe on a hunt along the river, but their expedition is ambushed by warriors of the Thonga tribe under the command of a scheming white man named Marco—who's orchestrated the attack to frame the Bejas for a crime and seize control of the jungle's valuable hunting lands. When Tiger Girl awakens from the assault, she finds herself caught in a dangerous web of deception, with the District Commissioner convinced of the Bejas' guilt and her own loyalties under suspicion. Now she must prove her innocence and expose Marco's true plot before it's too late.
