Branson hires sea-diver Jack Lewis to recover jewels from a sunken boat. The jewels are really smuggled drugs and Branson drowns Lewis to keep him quiet. As Lewis sinks to the bottom he vows revenge. Story is told from Betty Lewis' point of view.
