"Horror of the Avenging Corpse" follows a young man named Joe who is persuaded by the criminal "Trigger" to participate in a mob jewelry heist; when Joe hesitates, Trigger convinces him by promising quick money and safety, but the plan goes awry in a violent car crash that kills the gang members, after which Joe discovers the stolen loot hidden in his basement. "Death Laughs Last!" depicts Luther Corolli, a cunning murderer who assumes the identity of wealthy banker Vincent Daniels to gain access to his fortune, only to be caught and executed by police after a violent shootout.
