FF #20 brings Jonathan Hickman's ambitious run on Marvel's Future Foundation to a dramatic milestone, with a cover by Mike Choi that assembles a striking cast of characters: a young boy in a white FF uniform clutching a small girl, surrounded by an imposing lineup that includes a silver-armored figure, a blue-skinned woman, a flame-crowned golden figure, a green-skinned woman, a towering dark equine being, and a looming alien creature at the edge of the frame. The sheer variety of those figures — human, inhuman, and something else entirely — hints at the enormous cosmic and familial stakes woven through Hickman's storytelling. Nick Dragotta's interior art and Chris Sotomayor's colors round out a creative team firing on all cylinders as this chapter, "Deus Ex Inhuman," heads toward its conclusion.
