Feral is the second major creator-owned collaboration between writer Tony Fleecs and artist Trish Forstner, the team behind the bestselling Stray Dogs (Image, 2021). The series launched in March 2024 at Image Comics and by the time issue #18 shipped on November 26, 2025, it had grown into a multi-arc ongoing with collected editions distributed through Simon & Schuster. The core creative team throughout the run has been Fleecs (writer/letterer), Forstner (pencils/inks), Tone Rodriguez (inks), and colorist Brad Simpson — the same four-person unit that built Stray Dogs. The Pet City arc (issues #16–20) was publicly teased by Fleecs himself as containing some of his favorite moments in the series, and the arc was subsequently collected in Feral Vol. 4 (March 4, 2026).
