This May 1950 Quality Comics entry puts Stunt Man Stetson front and center in a rugged canyon setting, leaping fists-first from the back of a white horse while two pursuers scramble along the rocky ridge above. The cover blurb says it all — gold and greed are combining to form a death trap — and Harry Sahle's pencils capture the kinetic energy of a hero who clearly prefers action over caution. It's a fine snapshot of postwar Western adventure comics at their most dynamic.
