From Vertigo's boundary-pushing sci-fi series comes issue #23, featuring a Nathan Fox cover that stops you cold: a massive, heavily built figure looms forward out of a swirling cosmic backdrop, rendered in deep purples and smoldering reds that give the whole image an ominous, otherworldly weight.
