"Buzzy Bee" appears in two separate stories: the first titled "Canoe Beat This?" involves Buzzy in sporting goods and a canoe, and the second, "The Battle of the Bulge," shows Buzzy interacting with a large man and a mirror. Another story follows two animal characters (appearing to be an ape and a smaller creature) investigating a mystery involving a missing ape, lolly sticks, a warehouse, and suspicious sounds at a waterfront location.
Bobby Bantam and his Uncle Forgetful Fogety visit a restaurant where a mix-up over coat checks unleashes chaos—especially when a magician's enchanted coat full of impossible objects gets caught in the confusion. As everyone scrambles to sort out which coat belongs to whom, the magical garment creates one mishap after another, and Bobby and his friends must work to restore order before things get completely out of hand.
Champ the chimp wakes up convinced that Friday the 13th is his unlucky day and tries to stay in bed, but a dental appointment he's dreading forces him out into a series of mishaps and superstitious panics. When he finally makes it to the dentist's chair, things take an unexpected turn that leaves him in quite a state. This lighthearted romp through one chimp's very bad (or is it?) day captures all the silly charm of early-'50s funny animal comics.
Teddy Bear's landlord is breathing down his neck for unpaid rent when Skeezel the Weasel appears with an irresistible offer: a genuine money-tree that supposedly grows dollar bills—but only if Teddy keeps buying special water and vitamins to keep it healthy. What unfolds is a battle of wits between a gullible bear and a scheming weasel, each convinced he's outsmarting the other, as their get-rich-quick scheme spirals into increasingly absurd trades and revelations.
When Gopher decides to enter the Forest Fair's pie-baking contest for a prize of three sacks of butternuts, he hatches a risky scheme to steal maple sugar from Fox's property—enlisting his friend Mole to create a diversion while he sneaks in. But Fox's visiting cousin Flotsam catches Gopher red-handed, and Mole must call on Frog and devise a clever underground plan to rescue him and secure the ingredient. "Prize Surprise" serves up a wild night of scheming, narrow escapes, and unexpected comeuppance in the Forest Glen.
Hoppy and Quick-Quack investigate a mystery when a giant ape steals lollypops from neighborhood kids—and they soon discover the thief is searching for a special lucky lollystick that comes with a valuable prize. When their investigation leads them to a warehouse on the waterfront, they uncover a far more sinister operation and find themselves trapped alongside all the missing cats in the area. Hoppy must use his wits to outsmart the ape and rescue everyone before the mystery claims more victims.
