Father's Day #1

Dark Horse kicks off this four-issue series with a cover by Keron Grant that sets the tone perfectly: a wide-eyed man clutching a frying pan stands protectively in front of a young girl, both of them surveying a floor strewn with unconscious figures in suits — domestic chaos meeting something far more dangerous. Writer Mike Richardson and artist Gabriel Guzmán bring "Chapter One: Daddy Dearest" to life, and that title alone hints at a story where family bonds and serious trouble are thoroughly tangled. If the cover is any indication, this father-daughter duo is already in well over their heads.
