Fate spends the night with waitress Krysten until Charnelle breaks in. Fate leaves, but encounters a number of other DCU mystics in his travels across spatial tangents, until he arrives before the Pharaoh. The Nelsons are tricked by Nabu into releasing him from the form of the baby DeBella. He merges with Kent and goes off to confront Pharaoh and Fate. Krysten is revealed to be Typhon, a Lord of Chaos.
