In "Kong Robin den første," Prince John's latest scheme turns Robin Hood into a one-day king—complete with absurd royal duties. Forced to collect a tax for breathing English air, capture his friend Sir Clarence (and his dog, also named Clarence), and hunt down the Merrie Men, Robin finds himself in a test of loyalty and wit. When a Pictish invasion threatens, he turns his captives into warriors, using a cleverly timed dam and log trap to turn the tide. As the crown’s duties end, Robin returns to Sherwood Forest—still a hero, still free.
