Fantomen #16/2010
In "Chatu," Robin Hood infiltrates a masked ball at Nottingham Castle disguised as the legendary outlaw himself—only to find the real Robin Hood has been captured. With help from a clever ruse and a sudden twist of light, he frees the imprisoned Lille John and escapes into Sherwood Forest. But when the prince’s men track them with ease, Robin realizes too late that the sheriff has marked his cloak with glowing paint—turning his greatest disguise into a trap. Written by Bill Finger and Lennart Hartler, with art by Russ Heath, this 2010 Egmont issue features a cover by Germano Ferri.
In "Chatu," the man known as Python—once Prince Wambesiprins—now leads a shadow war from the jungle depths, hunted by Rhodian soldiers who’ve violated Bengali airspace in a bid to eliminate him. When the soldiers’ helicopter is stolen and they vanish into the wild, Fantomen takes the hunt into the dense canopy, tracking the rebels one by one—though Chatu himself remains elusive.
In the shadowed woods of Farornas, young Brian Kent trains under the harsh tutelage of Sir Grot, unaware that his father’s death was no accident. When he stumbles upon an ancient suit of armor in the forest, Brian dons it to save two travelers from bandits—choosing silence over identity, and a hidden path over the life he’s been forced to live.
In "Sherwoodskogens hemlighet," Robin Hood infiltrates a masked ball at Nottingham Castle disguised as himself—only to find another Robin Hood already there. With Lille John imprisoned and the sheriff nearly recognizing him, Robin must act fast to free his friend before the trap closes. As he and Lille John flee into Sherwood, they're pursued through the forest, but Robin soon realizes the chase is no accident—someone has marked him in a way he never expected.
In "Kit och småfolket Del 2," Kit’s restless mind leads him into the jungle, where he encounters the mysterious small folk and their imprisoned prince, Dall. Though Devil shadows him for protection, it’s the small folk who ultimately save Kit from the dangers of the wild. When Fantomen and Diana find him unharmed, Diana dismisses his tale as imagination—but Fantomen knows better, quietly honoring the hidden guardians of the jungle.
