Part of Marvel NOW!'s reinvigorated take on "The World's Greatest Comic Magazine," this 2013 installment carries the evocative title "The Big Crunch!" — and the cover by Mark Bagley and Mark Farmer makes the stakes feel immediate. The team's spacecraft appears small and vulnerable against an overwhelming void, its transparent cockpit revealing the huddled forms of the Fantastic Four as smoke and debris billow dramatically above and below them. Matt Bagley's stark, near-monochromatic composition — vast blackness swallowing the frame — gives the whole thing a quietly unsettling grandeur that makes you want to flip straight to page one.
