“Wrecked and Walloped By The Wizard's Warriors”

From Marvel Comics 2's self-proclaimed "Millennium's Greatest Comic Magazine!" comes this 1999 installment pitting the Fantastic Five against a threat that's hard to miss. The cover, penciled by Paul Ryan and inked by Al Milgrom, throws us right into the action: the Human Torch blazes at the center, the Thing stands rocky and ready, and a figure in blue braces alongside them — all while a pair of massive red legs loom ominously in the foreground — as the cover text introduces Torus Storm, son of the Human Torch and Ms. Fantastic. Adding to the excitement, a circular inset spotlights the Wizard's Warriors, a sinister new super-team whose villainous faces promise plenty of trouble ahead in Tom DeFalco's story.
