Jeff Lemire's unsettling horror series reaches its tenth issue with a cover by Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur that pulls no punches — a tangle of human figures, twisted and contorted among bare, grasping branches against a deep crimson backdrop, their bodies rendered in a sickly yellow that makes the whole image feel deeply wrong in the best possible way. The composition is chaotic yet purposeful, suggesting bodies in the grip of something far beyond their control.
