Fall of Cthulhu #0
In 731 AD, the scholar Abdul Alhazred is driven to madness by visions, writing the forbidden Al Azif before being imprisoned and executed—only for his body to be claimed by a demon. Centuries later, in the present day, Connor follows a mysterious being into a swamp, where he retrieves Abdul’s corpse and brings him back to life. Now resurrected, Abdul must write a new chapter of the Al Azif, a task that may unravel more than just the fabric of reality. Written by Michael Alan Nelson and illustrated by Jean Dzialowski, with a haunting cover by Vatche Mavlian, this pivotal issue sets the stage for a dark, mythic journey.
