This February 2005 Vertigo issue draws you in with James Jean's hauntingly beautiful cover — a wintry blue-violet landscape where bare, snow-laden branches frame a massive, brooding face looming in the background, while two small figures bundled in knit hats peer cautiously from the foreground, their wide eyes hinting at something unsettling in the frozen dark.
