F.C. De Kampioenen presenteert Vertongen & Co #19

Paris's rooftops set a thrilling stage for this 2017 entry in the Vertongen & Co series, as the mysterious masked figure Fantomark — decked out in a top hat, black mask, and flowing cape — sprints across the tiles with the familiar cast hot on his heels, while French gendarmes close in from behind and the Eiffel Tower looms over the city skyline. A small masked dog adds a cheeky touch to the chase, and the bright yellow costumes of two of the characters contrast wonderfully against the cool Parisian grey. With De schaduw van Fantomark as the title, issue #19 promises exactly the kind of lively, good-humored adventure that has made this F.C. De Kampioenen spin-off so endearing.
