F.C. De Kampioenen presenteert Vertongen & Co #18

Issue 18 of Vertongen & Co takes the beloved F.C. De Kampioenen gang to the Scottish Highlands for "De spoken van de doedelzak" — "The Ghosts of the Bagpipe." The cover, crafted by Hec Leemans, Swerts & Vanas, and Corteggiani, shows the group in fine form: a kilted bagpiper blowing away at full force, accompanied by his companions and a small dog, all set against a moody loch-and-hillside backdrop — while a swirling horde of glowing yellow spectral creatures rises up around them. It's a wonderfully chaotic 2017 adventure that blends Scottish atmosphere with the warm, cartoonish energy this series does so well.
