In an idealistic quandary, the Exiles realize that the fight between the Fantastic Four and the Mole Man appears to be a no-win scenario. Gwen rejects Spider-Man for not taking Doom's side in the battle. Thunderbird helps Psylocke and Cat drive Doom's men out of the crystal palace. The Exiles prepare to jump out of their current mission without any real resolution but Reed takes matters into his own hands and blows up the entire planet to wrest it from Doom's oppressive control. The Exiles are once again scattered across realities.
