Wealthy Edmond True, bored to the gills, agrees to financially go in with a man claiming to have an authentic pirate treasure map, but needing a partner. Edmond and Diana head out with Captain Snipe and soon discover the treasure. Later, Diana discovers that Edmond has been murdered and his part of the treasure gone.
