In Exciting Comics #35 (1944), chemist Bob and his partner Tim are in North Africa on a mission for the Office of Economic Warfare when a mysterious red mass crashes from the sky, obliterating a battleship—just the first in a series of attacks on American soil. With the help of a captured Nazi agent’s clue, the duo races to uncover the source of these cosmic threats, tracking down a hidden enemy and their deadly weapon before it’s too late. Art by Ken Battefield and Ed Moritz brings the wartime suspense to life, while Alex Schomburg’s cover captures the explosive arrival of the red menace.
