In "Villainy in the Virgin Islands," a simple photo shoot spirals into a wartime mix-up when a photographer rushes to deliver a print to Godfrey—just as Godfrey is about to set sail. Mistaken for spies during their frantic journey to the studio, the duo finds themselves locked up in a web of suspicion. Written and illustrated by Kay Blitz, with a striking cover by Alex Schomburg, this 1943 issue captures the tension and intrigue of a world at war, all from a single misdirected snapshot.
