Exceptional X-Men #9

The X-Men are throwing down hard in this ninth issue of Eve L. Ewing's run, and Carmen Carnero's cover captures the intensity beautifully — a blue-suited mutant drives a powerful strike directly into a dark-caped, long-haired opponent, while an icy figure looms in the background and another character wields golden bladed weapons in the foreground. Carnero's linework gives each figure real weight and momentum, with Nolan Woodard's warm orange backdrop making that burst of icy energy at the center of the clash crackle with contrast.
