Meanwhile, Meggan enjoys a night out, leaving Cap Britain to track her down as his powers begin to falter.

In "The Two-Edged Sword!", an evil alternate Excalibur invades Earth to reclaim their captured counterparts of Moira and Callisto, forcing the heroic team into a desperate fight. With their allies overwhelmed, Cap stands alone—donning his old, ill-fitting uniform to face the dark mirror of his own legacy.

In "The Price," Kitty grapples with the true nature of Widget as the Nazi Excalibur is sent back to its own dimension—only to detonate in a final, desperate act that sends Excalibur vanishing in the resulting explosion.
