Excalibur #30

The cover of this 1990 Marvel issue says it all with its bold tagline "Meggan's Molar Madness!" — a wild-haired, green-skinned Meggan in transformed, feral form has a terrified Captain Britain firmly in her grip, his mouth open in a startled cry. Ghostly figures swirl in the background above them, while the story's subtitle "Lover's Quarrel" adds a darkly comic twist to the confrontation between the two teammates. Cover pencils by Dave Ross and inks by Al Milgrom give the scene an energetic urgency that makes this installment of Excalibur hard to pass up.
