Part of Archie Comics' Giant Series, this 1972 issue puts Archie front and center at Brook Service Station, trading cheerful quips with an attendant about his beloved red jalopy — with Veronica, Betty, and Jughead grinning from the car's front seat. The breezy back-and-forth ("You keep your jalopy nice and clean!" / "It's mutual — my jalopy keeps me clean!") perfectly captures the lighthearted charm that made this series a go-to for Archie fans. At a quarter a copy, this Giant Series entry delivers plenty of Riverdale fun with artist Harry Lucey's clean, expressive linework on full display.
