When music critic Rap McNasty calls the Archies' sound "bubblegum rock" just as they're about to land a big music video deal, the group faces a crisis—until they decide to own the label with a bold new attitude.
In "Artists and Models," the teens of Riverdale take a playful turn when a group of boys sculpt a statue of a beautiful girl—only to see it transformed by the girls into a grotesque, misshapen figure, complete with a comically exaggerated male counterpart. The boys retaliate by reshaping the male statue, but in their attempt to fix the girl’s form, they accidentally make the pair look suspiciously like Mr. Weatherbee and Miss Grundy.
