Everafter: From the Pages of Fables #6

Spinning out of the world of Fables, Everafter continues its run with this striking 2017 Vertigo installment subtitled "Disillusioned." Tula Lotay's cover artwork sets an immediately theatrical mood — a top-hatted magician in a long coat stands with his back to us on a stage framed by deep red curtains, as playing cards swirl upward in a glowing blue cascade and a cluster of white rabbits gathers at his feet. Writers Dave Justus and Lilah Sturges, along with artist Steve Rolston, colorist Michael Wiggam, and inker Ande Parks, bring this world of fairy-tale espionage and wonder to life in what promises to be a mesmerizing chapter.
