Spinning out of the world of Fables, this Vertigo series reaches its tenth issue with a cover by Tula Lotay that feels quietly haunting — a young woman wrapped in a chainmail hood and a tunic bearing a heraldic lion gathers golden wheat in a cornfield, a "Plano South" sign rising behind her. The image carries a strong undercurrent of myth meeting the mundane, perfectly suited to a story arc titled "Gone to Seed."
