In "Au pays des immortels," Bruce Banner finds himself plummeting through a bottomless chasm back to Midgard when the Enchantress intervenes to pull him to safety. With the help of the Warriors Three and Oldar the Oracle, Banner learns the truth behind his transformation, and as the Hulk, he faces the Executioner, who has fought him before. When the evil duo unleash an army of trolls upon Asgard, the Hulk arrives just in time to aid Odin’s forces in their defense. Though proven a worthy ally, his unpredictable nature still earns the ire of the All-Father, who sends him back to Earth—leaving his fate uncertain.
